The SPA-9000 is a small IP-PBX with common voice system features such as an auto-attendant, shared line appearances, three way call conferencing, intercom, music on hold, call-forwarding and much more. The SPA-9000 opens up access to the benefits of VoIP, including low cost long distance service, telephone number portability, and one network for both voice and data.
Fully Working Phone System in Minutes
Most of the initial setup of the SPA-9000 is fully automatic when used with Linksys IP Phones such as the SPA-941. Any SIP IP phone can be used and manual setup is straight forward.
The SPA-9000 also has two integrated FXS ports allowing the connection of two analogue telephones which can then be used in the same way as the connected IP phones.
The PBX will register with multiple Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP) accounts and can be setup to route calls out using the cheapest rate for the number dialled.
The SPA-9000 will hold the public IP address provided by your ISP. Then using a NAT this is shared between the PC's on your LAN, but without the NAT getting in the way of the VOIP sessions. Alternatively you can use an existing router and the SPA-9000 will act purely as a PBX.
The SPA-9000 is not a voicemail server as this service will be provided by the ITSP you are using.
