Coupons are a great new feature provided by Calling Places that allows the creation of coupon codes of any cash value that allows the end user to recharge any existing TalkFree account over the web or over the phone. No longer do our customers have to track down the Calling Places staff members to get their account recharged nor do they require access to a computer to recharge. Just use a device on the network with your coupon and pin number and you are ready to go!
These coupons can never be configured as new accounts and pins or used directly on a device. This gives us the flexibility and security of knowing they will only be used for recharging purposes.
Once coupons are created and sold in the market, the customer has 3 options of using them. They can recharge their accounts in their End User Panel or they can use the new IVR RECHARGE Option over any device or fring mobile dialer.
PANEL RECHARGE Option:
-From the End User Panel go to the Account Tab.
-From the Account page select Recharge from the left hand column.
-Enter the Coupon number in the Account/Coupon field and enter the PIN number in the Pin Field
-Click on the Recharge button and your account has been recharged.
Device IVR RECHARGE Option:
- From any device on the network dial 8500 # (The default language for 8500# is English, but you can select the language using the IVR Language links in the control panel).
- After dialing 8500# the end user will hear their current balance and be prompted to enter a coupon and coupon pin.
- If the coupon and pin are correct, the IVR will give the new balance and hang up the call.
- If the coupon code is invalid or already used it will tell you the coupon code is invalid and hang up the call.
FRING IVR RECHARGE Option:
- Make sure the account is enabled for IVR Balance.
- From your fring mobile dialer go to Menu » Call » SIP Call » delete + and type 8500 » select OK. (The default language for 8500# is English, but you can select the language using the IVR Language button on the control panel).
- After dialing 8500# the end user will hear their current balance and be prompted to enter a coupon and coupon pin.
- If the coupon and pin are correct, the IVR will give the new balance and hang up the call.
- If the coupon code is invalid or already used it will tell you the coupon code is invalid and hang up the call.
*Please note there is NEVER a charge for this call from any device connected to the network.*
