This service is sometimes called two stage dialling in reference to the way how the connection from the user to destination is realized. In the first stage a user dials the access number and only then is asked for entering the destination number which is the second stage. Thus, user can avoid expensive international rates if he was to dial directly to destination. Instead, he dials first to local access number and then the connection to the destination is carried out through VoIP at much lower rate.

Below are the steps of the two stage dialling scenario:

  1. user makes a call to access number 123333333 number and gets connected
  2. systems asks for entering PIN (personal identification number) which is the user account’s password
  3. after successful authorization the system saves the caller ID so that the next time the user will not be asked for PIN
  4. the system plays the actual account balance
  5. the system asks user to enter destination phone number
  6. the system plays the maximum duration for the call and starts calling
  7. after the connection with the destination is ended by the 'other' side (to end from the user side the ( * ) should be entered from phone’s keypad) the user is asked again to enter new destination number he/she wish to connect
Pinless calling

After entering the PIN for the first time the system associates the callerID (i.e. the phone number of the caller) with the user’s account. The caller ID can be also entered through the Portal in the Authorized callerIDs menu. The system will then use the numbers in order to authorize incoming connections. In this authorization mode the scenario differs from the above that there is no points 2 and 3, just after dialing the access number (1233333) the user can directly enter the destination number. Up to five callerIDs can be assigned to one account.

The service is available for both regular and mobile phones.

Once the call is completed, it is charged to the caller’s account balance. The calling card user may log in to the account self-provisioning interface at any time to access call history (CDRs), payment information (credit card info), language options, and many other features.
