UK & Global Calldirect or Callthrough Access Facilities
An access facility is the way in which a customer can access the Switching
platform to make a call.
Together with CallingPlaces' outbound
services, the range of non-geographic numbers provide reseller partners with a
competitive, cost effective, total voice solution, increasing end user loyalty.
CallingPlaces provide a number of different access facilities for Residential
and Calling Cards
- 1XXX access via BT network in the UK. (Charged)
- Toll free number in UK (0800, 0808 and 1-800,etc). (Charged)
- Local access number in UK (0845, etc). (No Access Charge)
- Local Numbers in UK. (0203, 0207 and 0208). (No Access Charge)
- IP call connect. (No Access Charge) Use the calling card (PIN) or
Residential Account (CLI) after connecting using Internet protocol. This is also
known as VoIP. A customer can make a call over the Internet using their PC and a
suitable headset or via an Internet phone. Once connected to the Switching
platform they can use the account as normal.
