The Current Process
Currently there is a single main telecom provider (PTT) in the country providing basic 
national and international termination to the local population.  The telecom 
market is not well developed and the number of telecom services in this market 
is limited.

Problems with the Current Process
The costs of services burdened by PTT telecommunication are increasing due to 
international embargo and continuous repair and renewals of old legacy systems. 
These increases in costs have reflected on the cost of services paid by general 
public. There is therefore a need for reviewing alternative sources of service 
to the public through private enterprises for provision of telecommunication 
services in the country.  Depending on local regulatory requirements and license 
requirements, there is the opportunity to develop this market by providing 
varied range of telecom services to the general population.

Summary of Proposed Solutions and Objectives
The Client has been able to gain a licence for provision of Telecommunication 
services in the country. Currently they are reviewing the possibilities of 
provisioning services both in the country and in other jurisdictions were 
expatriate country men community reside and make most calls to the home country.
Their strategy entails a process of feasibility studies and a reasonable return 
on their investment both for short and long term operations. The proposal laid 
out in this document empowers the client to make a qualitative decision based on 
the current technology. The proposal provides a reasonable investment in 
telecommunication systems in the country with very little investment in UK for 
international termination. This proposal constitutes linking up the network in 
the country with our current global infrastructure and take benefit of Calling Places tried 
and tested global network. 

Proposed Solutions
Calling Places would like to evaluate a potential business solution for implementation of a 
telecommunication project in the country. 

A reasonable investment in  and taking advantage of Calling Places' current global infrastructure.

This proposal will provide a greater ownership but at far less investment for 
provision of Voice and Data services. 

Calling Places can provide the full services through their international hubs and pops 
around world. Client can terminate calls from the country to International 
destinations or terminate calls originating from International jurisdictions to 
the country.
Our switches use minimum of three carriers for provision of least cost routing. 
The client can use our current interconnection services with no cost of 
deposit or interconnection fees. 

By using our global infrastructure and Virtual Switch Program, client can manage their network from any 
Point of Presence on our network and bill their customers appropriately.
Calling Places will provide 24/7/365 support for all their facilities worldwide and client 
can be assured of similar support for their services.

Agreed wholesale rates in GBP(£), Euro or US$ for International call termination.  All calls 
terminated internationally and bills are generated in real time for all individual calls.  The call rates below are rates
