How to call ordinary phones

Buy a little credit

To make a call to a mobile or landline phone anywhere in the world with CallingPlaces SIP SoftPhone and X-Ten Light you’ll need SIPOUT Credit. If you already have credit enter you Account PIN and Password into the SIP dialer and start making calls.

If not you don’t have any credit, you’ll need to purchase SIP Credit.

Testing Your Sound Setup

Before starting please click the Audio Wizard to tune your speakers and microphone settings to best performance.

Make a call

Once you have SIPOUT Credit you’re all set to make a call, here’s how:

1. Enter the destination Number using the 'easy' dial pad. Prefix for domestic calls, but outside of your area code (e.g. 0). International dialing prefix (e.g. 00)

2. Enter your friend’s phone number including country code.

3. Press the big GREEN 'DIAL' button to make the call and the RED button to 'HANG UP'

Save contacts

Open Phone Book and save your contact Names and Phone Numbers.

Thereafter, click the “Phone Book'' tab, select the name you are calling to make CALLS (without dialing), or to Add, Edit or Delete contact .

How long can I use my credit to make SIPOUT calls?

Your SIP Credit balance remains active for 90 days after your FIRST successfully-connected PSTN phone call.

SIPOUT Credit balances still remaining on accounts 90 day after first use will be lost
