Buying from CALLINGPLACES is easy

Ordering

The simplest way of ordering products from CALLINGPLACES is by using the on-line 'Shopping Trolley'. Just click on the little blue shopping-trolley symbol next to the parts you need and then follow the on-screen instructions. This is a quick, easy and secure way of getting your order to us as soon as possible. We can also accept orders by fax, post or over the phone by calling our local rate sales line on +44 (0)208 810 6609. We try to ensure that all the specifications, prices and availability information are as up-to-date as possible, most pages are dated. If you have any queries or would like confirmation of anything please do not hesitate to contact us.

Methods of Payment

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and most of the minor cards such as Solo. We do not accept Electron or Diners Card for mail order. We can also accept payment by cash and cheque or by transfer into our bank (Barclays Bank, 20-27-48, 70625388). The Swift Code for International customers is BARCGB22. We have electronic banking and can verify bank payments immediately.

Delivery within the UK
Stock permitting we try to get everything out the same day, subject to having the order by 3:00pm

Next Working Day Carrier service is arranged through CityLink and is charged at £9.95 inc vat. Items sent special delivery are charged at £7.75 inc vat. We select the most appropriate carrier depending on size, weight, destination and value. Many small items will go by first class post. Most items require a signature on delivery. Get your order sent to your work address if you're going to be out! Small items sent by first class post DO NOT require a signature.

Larger Parcels to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Islands sent via the CityLink service will be charged at £29.32 inc vat, items between 2 and 3 kg will be sent by Parcel Force standard delivery at a cost of £9.95. If items weigh less that 2kg then they will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery at a cost of £7.75 inc vat. The CityLink website is www.city-link.co.uk - from there you will be able to find your local depot and track parcels, contact us for your tracking number.

Delivery outside the UK
International delivery can be arranged though most of the international carriers including UPS or DHL as required. Please email us with shipping address and goods required for a quotation for delivery. Email Us

Credit Card Surcharges
All Credit Cards are surcharged at 1.5%, and Business Credit Cards charged at 2%. For Debit-card/Switch orders under £50.00 there is a 1.5% surcharge but no surcharge on orders over £50.00 but please tell us about this on your order since we can't always tell if the card is a debit card until after the event.

Privacy Policy
All information provided on your order is handled in the strictest confidence. We do not sell any of your information, and the information provided (including ex-directory phone numbers) are only used in conjunction with your order.

Warranty
All goods are covered by a 12 month return to base warranty unless otherwise stated.

Returns Policy
Whether your order is made via the website or by telephone you are covered under the Distance Selling Regulations laid out by the Office of Fair Trading.
If you cancel an order and wish to return the goods you must confirm, in writing, to us within 7 working days from the day after that on which the goods are received. You must ensure that reasonable care is taken of the goods and that they are returned to us by some form of insured, signed for carrier at your expense. On receipt of the returned items, they will be checked and tested to determine that reasonable care has been taken and then we shall credit your credit/debit card with the total amount of the original order less the carriage and the credit card surcharge. Your right to cancel is not extended to goods made to your specifications such as custom made cables.
